Food Review: Shin-Sapporo Ramen
The Place There have been an explosion of Ramen joints lately and it’s not at all exaggerating that I have been spoilt for choice. Shin-Sapporo Ramen is not new to the ramen scene, but still able to attract a fair share of loyal customers through its firm principle of preparing its pork bone broth daily by boiling up to 15 hours.
The Food The Shin-Sapporo Miso Ramen is the signature dish but I had some other ramen instead. It is welcoming that there is an ongoing set meal promotion which comes with a mini-ramen and mini-don of your choice, a salad and a choice of side dish, all at $16.80 which is a fairly good deal.
The salad is refreshingly good.

Takopachi for sides
My Tonkotsu ramen is a generous portion as I chose to upgrade it to the regular size (add $3). I like the taste of the pork broth as the thickness is just right and it does not make me feel too greasy. The bonus point is that the ramen is refillable so long as there is still soup left, perfect for people who have a monster appetite!
For Shoyu ramen lovers, this is not too bad an alternative as well.
Will I return again? I love fuss free meals at times and Shin-Sapporo Ramen is a good choice for that purpose.
