Hotel Review: Cape Kudu Hotel, Koh Yao Noi in Thailand | Head East Of Phuket In The Phang Nga Bay
The Hotel If Phuket is too mainstream for you now, head over east of the island of Phuket along the Phang Nga Bay to Koh Yao Noi. Be surprised that you will actually find a handful of luxury properties here, and one you should not missed will be Cape Kudu Hotel. Located along Klong Jark Beach, guests at Cape Kudu Hotel will enjoy views of the entire Phang Nga Bay with small islands dotting the sea views.

Getting to the hotel is an easy 20 minutes car ride from Phuket International Airport to Bang Rong Pier where you will be greeted by Cape Kudu Hotel’s hospitality lounge. Various daily 30 minutes boat rides between Bang Rong Pier to Koh Yao Noi’s Manoh Pier, will bring you just a final 15 minutes drive to the hotel.

For folks not planning to spend much time in your room, you can go for the Deluxe Room types which is spacious at 45sqm. The only headache is to decide if you are looking for a seaview room, although there is little reason to skip the views of the bay honestly!

Go for the Robinson Crusoe suite to enjoy doubling your room space, with an addition of a whirlpool bath and sun loungers to the balcony! That is definitely an experience you probably would not want to miss out on, chilling with views of the bay in the comfort of your room.

Of course, if you are keen for a villa stay, Cape Kudu Hotel has multiple Private Pool Villa for guests to enjoy more privacy too. The plunge pool will offer you a respite from the usual summer weather in Thailand, or whenever you want a dip even at the oddest of hours!

Every hotel has their presidential suite, and at Cape Kudu Hotel, the Baan Yu Yen Two-Bedroom Pool Villa will definitely surpass all expectations. The Facilities Everything you expect of a beachfront property, and more. Cape Kudu Hotel plays to its location advantage with an infinity pool overlooking the bay and complete with a sunbathing terrace at the beach.

To escape the afternoon sun, head to the Reading Room to get some respite from the heat and enjoy some time catching up on your readings or just playing a game of pool. Of course, if you are looking to sweat it out, there is a fitness studio or pick up a mountain bike and ride in the almost car-free roads of the Koh Yao Noi island.

You can pamper yourself, at the recently opened Cape Spa since travelling is all about taking a break from our daily hustle. There are more activities available, just book with the hotel during your stay to spruce up your stay.
The Activities If you are keen for some activities, head out for a sunset cruise, or island hop through the bay with a long-tailed boat, or perhaps take up Thai boxing or Thai cooking class!

For the island hopping, it is a private Long Tail Boat which will bring you out to explore Phang Nga Bay. Head out to the islands including Panak Island, Koh Hong, Khao Phing Kan and the world-famous James Bond Island, and snorkel with the marine life around.

If island hopping is not your thing, the property has a wide list of options for you to choose from. For the sport enthusiast, there’s Muay Thai; or if you are looking for another local Thai experience, head to the kitchen and learn some cooking from a local Thai chef!

The Restaurants Nothing beats enjoying Thai food in Thailand, and you can enjoy that at Cape Kudu’s all-day dining concept Hornbill Restaurant. For caffeine fix and a good serving of brunch food, you can head to the beachfront Café Kantary to sip your coffee while enjoying a sweeping view of the bay.

Located right behind the pool, order your daily poison from the Long Island Bar. Or for your daily sanity, choose to sip your coffee here by the pool.
Overall Experience This is definitely one property to check out, best beach resort – checked, small luxury hotel – checked, and because luxury is comfort. Book your next flight to Phuket, but remember to take that ferry ride across to Koh Yao Noi to check out Cape Kudu Hotel.
