Lounge Review: Singapore Airlines SilverKris Business Lounge Changi Airport Terminal 3
The Lounge Singapore Changi Airport has long been hailed as one of the best airports in the world and nestled within its sprawling Terminal 3 is Singapore Airlines SilverKris Business Lounge — a sanctuary for Singapore Airlines’ premium passengers. I had the chance to visit this lounge over the past few years, and I thought it is time for a proper review.

The lounge is tucked away on Level 3 (nearer to A Gates), just above the main shopping area. The entrance itself sets the tone: a sleek, modern space adorned with batik-inspired glass panels that pay homage to Singapore Airlines’ heritage.

It is a big lounge to say the least, with two main sections once you enter on the right and left side. Following a major renovation a few years ago, the space now spans over 32,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 570 guests. Despite its capacity, the layout is designed to feel intimate, with distinct zones for dining, relaxing, working, and even sleeping.

The right side of the lounge is more open concept with high ceilings, a smaller buffet spread for food, and is less busy than the left side of the lounge in general.

This is also where the bar is located which serves barista-made coffee and alcoholic drinks.

The left side of the lounge features a longer buffet line and is naturally quite busy at most times.

The lounge is designed in a way where there are various seating configurations for small groups, couples, or solo traveller.

Business travelers will appreciate the productivity pods, which come equipped with power outlets and USB ports. There is also a concierge desk for flight assistance.

Towards the tail end of the lounge is a sleeping zone, though note that the beds are quite limited and is often full.

Access Entry to the lounge is granted to Business and First Class passengers flying with Singapore Airlines or other Star Alliance carriers, as well as PPS Club members. Remember that even if you are not flying out of Terminal 3, you can still factor in time to check this out and take the sky train to the terminal you are departing from.
The Food The food selection is decent with a strong emphasis on Asian flavors. There are live cooking stations serving up local favorites and international fare, alongside a well-stocked bar and barista counter.

One of the must-try dishes is the laksa station, a perennial local favorite which features a coconut-based broth, rice noodles, prawns or fish cake, and sambal chili. It is one of the most iconic Singaporean dishes.

Other highlights include steamed dim sum like ‘siew mai’, sushi counter, salad bar, fried snacks like fries and nuggets, and ice cream.

For drinks, expect a full-service bar staffed by bartenders where you can order cocktails on request, while self-serve stations featured wines, spirits, champagne and TWG teas.

One highlight is the wine vending machine.

The Facilities For those needing rest, the nap zone offers semi-private cubicles with plush recliners and dim lighting.
The shower suites are relatively good, featuring modern fixtures and electric bidet seats. It is also very cleaned, though do set aside waiting time which can be up to 45 minutes when the lounge is at full capacity.

There are also baby care room and playroom.
Rants During peak hours, it can get crowded. Some areas also lack natural light, which can make them feel a bit enclosed compared to the more open zones. In terms of the food quality, it is not as impressive as other loungers I have visited previously such as Qatar Airways Premium Lounge Singapore located in Terminal 1.
Overall Experience Overall, the SilverKris Lounge at Changi T3 is a comfortable retreat. While it is certainly not the most impressive business class lounges in Changi in terms of food quality and design, it is still a decent option for Star Alliance flights on Business Class and First Class. This is also a much bigger space than the SilverKris Lounge at Changi T2.
