Sitting at the junction of Stamford Road and North Bridge Road, the Capitol site will eventually feature developments such as a new 200 room luxury hotel, four levels of retail shops and an ultra-luxurious residential development of only 70 apartments. The retail space will have at least 40 per cent of the brands new to the Singapore market.

Most importantly, Capitol Theatre will be restored, with it being the largest single screen cinema cum performance theatre with about 800 seats. Golden Village will be operating the cinema, with half the season dedicated to hosting local theatre and dance groups. With the revamp, Capitol Theatre will be Singapore’s answer for red carpet movie premieres!
