It’s year end once again and there is always another reason to feast on good food! If you are a lover of food and in particular hawker food, the Ultimate Hawker Fest (UHF) is back this year as part of SG50 celebration to celebrate Singapore’s unique Hawker Heritage, brought to you by TOUCH Community Services and well-known food bloggers Maureen Ow (www.MissTamChiak.com), Derrick Tan (www.SgFoodOnFoot.com) and Ian Low (TheSilverChef.blogspot.sg).

What to expect: There will be three food zones namely the Ultimate Original Recipe [食代相传], Ultimate Pursuit of Happiness [食膳为心] and Ultimate Ingredients [食材科举]. Expect to spot familiar hawker names such as Rong Cheng Bak Kut Teh, Chey Sua Carrot Cake, Asam Tree Cafe, Bakery & Restaurant, Good Chance Popiah Eating House and Tian Tian Chicken Rice, as well as food stalls featuring celebrity chefs Shen Tan and Eric Neo just to name a few. Food coupons can be purchased online or on event date, where all proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the services and programmes of TOUCH in meeting the needs of the disadvantaged.
