New Bahru is the hottest dining and lifestyle destination in Singapore lately and Dearborn @ New Bahru is easily one of the most popular dining destinations here. Buzzing Restaurants
Revolver’s New Bullet 14 Menu
New Bullet 14 Menu at Revolver, and this is also the first menu since Group Executive Chef and Partner, Jitin Joshi joined the team. One of our favourite courses from the Experience Dinner Menu is the Boston Lobster which is deshelled and stir-fried with pork fat. You get that smokiness from the applewood where the lobster meat is topped with crispy lardo in a sauce comprising onion, bamboo shoot, naga chilli pepper and black pepper. The signature Paneer which is flown in from Delhi twice a week is different from the previous renditions we had here. You get that slight hint of spiciness from the fermented jalapenos and pickling spices, where it is then filled with mango chutney and served on a bed of chilli chutney and wasabi peas with a drizzle of turmeric oil, nigella seeds and chive flowers. We also love the Kulchette, flatbread stuffed with cheese here at Revolver where we had ours topped with butter chicken, so good!

New Summer Menu at Omakase @ Stevens
The Japanese French Kaiseki restaurant Omakase @ Stevens brings with it a new Executive Chef Kazuki Arimoto and a new Summer Menu where the six- or eight- courses are priced at S$280+ or S$333+ respectively. Our meal started with the Namerou Caviar served in a little treasure box that opens up to a combination of Shimaji striped jack fish and Oscietra caviar, dressed in miso, leek, and ginger. Mains to expect include the Wagyu Katsu, sliced from Miyazaki beef for a smooth, buttery richness, coated with breadcrumbs, and then deep-fried to a golden fillet. Dessert is a premium Miyazaki Mango with refreshing flavours of Sudachi citrus and finger lime. Another highlight is the Chef’s Signature Unagi Kabayaki which is prepared the traditional way in a Donabe Japanese claypot. Premium Koshihikari rice is drizzled with homemade Kabayaki sauce, topped with Mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley) and Myoga (ginger flower).

While you still get the signature buns here, this new contemporary Cantonese dining concept also serves a supplementary variety Cantonese Roasts, Hot Mains and Cooked Dishes! The BBQ Spanish Pork Char Siew is one of our top picks. The dining ambience is also more elevated as compared to the typical Tim Ho Wan outlets.

Ilmiri Korean Fusion Cuisine Opens At Joo Chiat
We can never keep up with the changes to the dining scene in Katong and here is one more new dining option for Korean lovers. Ilmiri Korean Fusion Cuisine opened their second outlet in Joo Chiat (close to i12 Katong) and other than their signature Mari (fresh veggies wrapped in charcoal-grilled beef in a stew), we had their Cloud Cheese Jjimdak, a classic Korean royal dish where this modern rendition features tender braised chicken with a medley of vegetables, rice cakes, potatoes and glass noodles.
