The Lounge Renowned for its exceptional airport experience, Changi Airport’s offerings are enhanced by the presence of several premium airline lounges, including the Qatar Airways Premium Lounge Singapore located in Terminal 1. The Qatar Airways Premium Lounge is located beside the Emirates Lounge and Plaza Premium Lounge on the upper mezzanine near the C Gates.  

Upon entering the Qatar Airways Lounge, I was immediately struck by its elegant design. The space exudes a sophisticated, modern aesthetic with a calming color palette. 

The lounge features comfortable seating arrangements, including plush armchairs and sofas, designed for both relaxation and work.

The lighting is soft, creating a serene environment perfect for unwinding before your flight. 

Access If you are flying with Qatar Airways or have access through a premium ticket or alliance status, the Qatar Airways Lounge is a must-visit. Premium Class customers, Privilege Club Platinum, Gold and Silver members travelling on Qatar Airways as well as oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members travelling on any oneworld flight can enjoy premium lounge facilities in airports around the world.   

The Food In terms of dining options, there is a buffet spread which offers hot and cold dishes, fresh salads, and a selection of snacks. The bar area serves a variety of beverages, including premium wines, spirits, and cocktails, along with freshly brewed coffee and a selection of teas. 

The best part of the dining experience for me is that there is proper table service as well, where you can order through an ala carte menu via the QR code.

And for a start, you can have some champagne.

The dishes will then be served to your table. The ala carte menu is quite varied, where I managed to try the beef tenderloin for my main course which was quite decently done. 

For starters, think mushroom soup and smoke salmon, and more.

There is also a centrepiece bar for guests who want to have a drink or two.   

The Facilities For those looking to rest, the lounge provides comfortable seating with ample privacy. There are also quiet areas for reading or catching up on work, with power outlets readily available. 

I like the individual pods which are great for solo travellers who want a quiet space on their own. 

If you have time, I also recommend heading for a shower to freshen up, which I did.

There is ample shower cubicles complete with Diptyque toiletries.

Overall Experience The Qatar Airways Lounge at Changi Airport is a top-tier facility (quite possibly the best Business Class lounge in Changi) that enhances the travel experience with its blend of comfort, style, and functionality. It is a perfect retreat whether you are on a short layover or have a few hours to spare. The staff at the Qatar Airways Lounge are attentive and professional, and if you have the opportunity to access this lounge, it is certainly worth making the most of it.
