Lounge Review: British Airways Lounge, Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1

The Lounge Located in Singapore Changi Airport, Terminal 1 right beside Qantas International Business Lounge, the British Airways Lounge is a traditional looking Business Class lounge. Seating arrangements are varied, with a mix of plush armchairs, sofa areas, and workstations.

This is one of the Oneworld lounges located in Changi Airport Terminal 1, in addition to Qatar Airways Premium Lounge and Qantas International Business Lounge. I highly recommend checking out all the three lounges if you have time. Of course, there is also the Cathay Pacific Lounge located at Terminal 4.

The layout ensures ample space for relaxation or work, while also maintaining a sense of openness despite the lounge’s relatively compact size.

Access: The British Airways Lounge is available to Business and First Class passengers flying with British Airways, as well as to British Airways Executive Club Gold and Silver members, and oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members.

The Facilities For dining, the lounge features a well-stocked buffet offering a selection of hot and cold dishes. You can expect a range of options including salads, sandwiches, and hot meals with a focus on international flavors. The spread of the food leans towards simplicity rather than gourmet fare.

The self-serve bar includes a selection of wines, beers, and spirits, providing a decent range of options for a pre-flight drink.

Of course, you do get your coffee and tea as well.

The lounge includes shower facilities, which are clean and functional. Amenities such as towels, toiletries, and hair dryers are readily available.

While the lounge does not have dedicated quiet zones, the seating arrangements allow for a degree of privacy. There are comfortable armchairs where you can relax, although the space can get busy during peak travel times.

Workstations equipped with computers and printers are available for those needing to catch up on work.

For entertainment, the lounge offers a selection of newspapers and magazines, as well as television screens broadcasting a range of news and entertainment channels.

Rants Dated interior design and lack of quiet zones to rest.

Overall Experience The British Airways Lounge at Changi Airport offers a comfortable and functional space for travelers. While it might not boast some of the more extravagant amenities found in other lounges, it provides a reliable and pleasant environment before a flight.
