Lounge Review: Qantas International Business Lounge, Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1

The Lounge Located in Singapore Changi Airport, Terminal 1, the Qantas International Business Lounge strikes a balance between understated elegance and contemporary comfort. The lounge is located on the left side after you have passed immigration, then take the escalator and you will see signs for the lounge.

Upon entering, I was greeted by a spacious and airy environment with sleek, modern furnishings and warm lighting.

There are two main sections, a huge dining area which overlooks the departure hall of Terminal 1, as well as a rest and relax corner which is very spacious.

The lounge design incorporates a soothing color palette of neutral tones with tasteful wood accents, creating a relaxing oasis amidst the bustling airport.

The seating area is thoughtfully arranged to offer privacy while still maintaining an open, communal feel. I like that the space of the lounge is huge, so it does not feel like it is very busy.

Comfortable armchairs and sofas are plentiful, and workstations equipped with power outlets and USB ports are strategically placed for business travelers needing to catch up on work.

Access: Qantas International Business Lounge is accessible to Business Class passengers on Qantas and partner airlines, as well as Qantas Frequent Flyer Platinum and Gold members, and Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members.

The Facilities In terms of dining, the buffet spread is a highlight, featuring a range of options to cater to diverse tastes. You will find a selection of fresh salads, hot dishes, and an assortment of cold cuts and cheeses.

The hot meals include a variety of international and local cuisines, such as noodles, rice dishes, and soups. The dessert selection, though modest, includes some delightful pastries and fresh fruit.

There is also a bar area offering an assortment of beverages, including premium wines, spirits, and cocktails.

For those looking to freshen up, the lounge provides well-maintained shower suites. These are equipped with amenities, though it is not as luxurious looking as the ones at Qatar Airways Premium Lounge.

The lounge includes dedicated quiet areas for relaxation, with reclining chairs and dimmed lighting. These spaces are ideal for unwinding or catching a nap in a tranquil setting.

In terms of entertainment, there is a selection of newspapers and magazines available, along with multiple television screens showcasing news and entertainment channels.

Rants No table service like the Qatar Premium Lounge but at least the buffet spread is very decent.

Overall Experience The Qantas International Business Lounge at Changi Airport offers a refined and comfortable environment for travelers. In terms of service, the staff are professional and attentive. In short, a very decent Business Class lounge to check out in Changi Airport.
