Located within Labrador Nature Reserve is Asu, a new ‘Progressive Asian Cuisine’ restaurant which just opened this month helmed by Chef Ace Tan where the cuisine is based on his childhood memories and global techniques over his culinary career. One notable theme in his cuisine is also that of ancient Chinese health element where you will find ingredients which come with health benefits as well. Le Pristine Singapore
The most anticipated hotel reopening in Singapore this year is undoubtedly Grand Hyatt Singapore, and a handsome looking new restaurant just opened in the Hyatt property. I checked out Le Pristine Singapore, a New Italian cuisine dining concept by celebrated Dutch Chef Sergio Herman’s debut in Southeast Asia. Chef Sergio serves up New Italian cuisine, a contemporary tribute to pure Italian flavours and Sergio’s deep-rooted Zeeland (located on the southwestern coast of the Netherland) heritage. Moon Moon Food
The casual Taiwanese restaurant just opened its first overseas branch at Ngee Ann City, Singapore on 17 October 2024. For context, their flagship store on Qingdao East Road has earned the Michelin Bib Gourmand accolade every year since 2018. The brand is known for its authentic Taiwanese health soups, as well as comforting flavours of homecooked meals. The menu is largely similar to Taiwan with some tweaks to the dishes and some Singapore exclusive dishes like the Taiwanese snacks category on the menu. The Spicy Sesame Noodles is s must try! Anto Pizza E Aperitivi
New on the block along Jiak Chuan Road is Anto Pizza E Aperitivi, a newly opened Italian restaurant in the Keong Saik enclave for pizzas and aperitivi. Anto took over the space of the now-defunct Lime House, and it is a dining concept by cousins Giancarlo Mancino and Antonio Brancato. Both Giancarlo and Antonio are from the small town of Pignola, Italy, where Antonio is a master pizzaiolo himself, while Giancarlo is a renowned bartender and founder of GiancarloBAR Ltd. in Hong Kong. Sushi Masa By Ki-setsu
Nestled in Cuppage Plaza, Sushi Masa By Ki-setsu is a new Japanese omakase restaurant helmed by Chef Masa. It is a cosy interior which accommodates less than ten pax, where every diner sits around the wooden counter with a close interaction with Chef Masa. There is only dinner service, and three tasting menus are offered, starting from S$230+ for the 16-course Syuugetsu menu where you can expect Seasonal Appetisers, Sashimi, Cooked dishes, Nigiri Sushi, Soup and Dessert. Les Ducs 
Nestled on the ground floor of a heritage shophouse along Ann Siang Hill, Les Ducs is a new 40-seat French restaurant helmed by chef-partner Louis Pacquelin. The name “Les Ducs” literally means “The Dukes” in French, and it takes on a fun approach to French dining. The interior of Les Ducs exudes eclectic New York-style loft space vibes with exposed brick walls and an open kitchen. Coining it “French fun dining”, the dishes here are French comfort food with Asian influences. The menu offers a range of small bites and bigger plates. [Read more here for our full review]

Cygnet 
Located in the newly opened QT Singapore in the heart of CBD, Cygnet is a new bar and grill restaurant by award-winning Chef, Sean Connolly. The space of Cygnet exudes chic New York steakhouse vibes where its spacious interior is elegant with different table sizes to fit a good range of diners. The menu is split into a series of appetisers, mains, steaks, sides and desserts. Iru Den At Scotts Road Takes On New Taiwanese Ingredients & Flavours Approach
The charming restaurant located on Scotts Road has a new focus on Taiwanese flavours and ingredients presented by Chef Javier Low, and prepared in the same Japanese and European approach. What is now different is that the seasonal menu revolves mainly around ingredients and flavours from Taiwan. The new 8-course Chef’s Experience Menu (S$258++) includes dishes like Carabinero which features shrimps from  Yilan, Taiwan; Taiwanese Somen; Amadai sourced from the South China Sea near Kaohsiung; and the signature donabe which showcase Pacific saury sourced from the waters of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Labyrinth’s Innovative Ode To Celebrated Singaporean Hawker Dishes
Other than the decade old restaurant’s redesigned dining halls and new artwork by Singaporean artists lately, the New Labyrinth Menu launched is an innovative approach to “New Singaporean” cuisine, available for lunch (S$208++ per pax), and dinner (S$298++ per pax). One main theme of the new menu is to rediscover and reinterpret Singapore’s vibrant hawker legacy in the contemporary lens of Labyrinth’s team. Expect courses like Fuzhou Oyster Bao, Ramly Burger, Siglap Laksa, Chicken Rice, and more, presented in familiar yet different ways. Same Story, New Journey: Peach Blossoms’ Chef Edward Chong Unveils New Menu
The new menu breathes new life into the restaurant’s signature dishes, where Chef Edward continues to push the boundaries of Chinese cuisine. The new eight-course menu will be available for lunch and dinner at S$268++ per person, and you can expect dishes like Jeju Abalone and Fish Maw Soup with 2009 Winter Poems Wine; Tea Smoked Ibérico Pork Bao topped with Peking Duck Skin; and a trio of Crab Claw, Crab Roe and Pie. Refined Revival Of Hong Kong Cantonese Cuisine At Golden Peony
The new menu is crafted under Chinese Executive Chef Ku Keung whose culinary roots lie deep in Hong Kong with a curated selection of an elevated approach to disappearing Cantonese dishes. Expect dishes like the Panko-Crusted Crab Meat on Crab Shell, a retro Cantonese classic inspired by French seafood gratins; Braised Glutinous Rice with Sliced Fish Maw where the delicious rice spots a nice risotto-like texture; and dim sum items like the hand-minced Steamed Beef Ball.

A Henri Giraud Champagne Collaboration With Omakase-style Tempura Restaurant Tentsuru
This unique collaboration between Tentsuru and Henri Giraud highlights the delicate art of tempura, complemented by the rare champagnes. For a limited time, the restaurant will collaborate with the chamapagne brand for a month-long promotion from 19 October to 17 November 2024, available to the public at S$350++ per pax and at a special rate of S$300++ per pax for MyMillennium members.

New Autumn-Winter Menu At Terra Tokyo Italian 
The new lunch menus start from S$98++ and new dinner menus start from S$128++ per person, and it features 4-5 courses in the restaurant’s signature omakase style, where seasonal ingredients dictate what is served. Ingredients are carefully selected from both Italy and Japan and delivered to Singapore up to 4 times a week. Expect dishes like Tagliolini with seasonal Italian white truffles; Anko (Monkfish) with clams and mussels; and Wagyu OP Rib with porcini mushroom and red wine sauce. [Read more here for our full review]
