Lounge Review: Qantas International Business Lounge Melbourne
The Lounge Nestled within Melbourne Airport’s bustling international terminal, the Qantas International Business Lounge is located after security in the international terminal (Terminal 2) at Melbourne Airport.

The seating areas are varied, including comfortable armchairs, communal tables, and private workstations, catering to different needs such as relaxation, dining, or work.

Access Travelers flying in business class on Qantas or any Oneworld-operated international flight have access to the lounge.
Qantas Platinum One, Platinum, and Gold Members: These members of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program have access to the lounge when traveling on a Qantas or Oneworld-operated international flight.
Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire Members: Oneworld Sapphire (equivalent to Qantas Gold) and Emerald (equivalent to Qantas Platinum) status holders can access the lounge when traveling on any Oneworld-operated international flight, regardless of the class of service.
The Food There is a buffet line that includes a selection of hot and cold dishes, as well as light snacks. I only had soup since I wasn’t particularly hungry, but nothing really stands out from the buffet line which I felt like I needed to try.

The beverage selection is extensive, with a range of wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic options.

Coffee lovers will love the idea of a barista service for freshly brewed coffee.

The Facilities The lounge provides shower facilities with amenities, which is convenient for travelers wanting to freshen up before their flight.

There is free Wi-Fi throughout the lounge, as well as plenty of power outlets for charging devices.

Business travelers can make use of the quiet areas and workstations, which offer a good environment for productivity.

The lounge also features a selection of newspapers and magazines.

Rants Dated look and lack of windows in the lounge as it is located in the basement of the airport.

Overall Experience The Qantas International Business Lounge in Melbourne is functional and a no-frills spot to relax before your flight. Despite some of the rants I have for this lounge, it is still considered one of the better business class offerings at Melbourne International Airport.
