Pierre Herme Singapore
The largest Pierre Hermé store? That’s right in Singapore, not Paris. The latest buzz in Resorts World Sentosa is Pierre Hermé Paris flagship boutique nestled within Resorts World Sentosa’s newly opening lifestyle and dining building Weave.  A two storey concept where level one is a spacious display of pastries, Pierre Hermé’s signature macarons with a wide assortment of flavours, coffee station, ice cream station and chocolate corner. The other unique element of this store is level two, La Table by Pierre Hermé where it is a full-service restaurant for all-day dining rooted in flavour, technique and elegance.  [Read more here for our full review

Revolution
It is easy to miss Revolution, a new restaurant at Henderson Road by the same team behind the now-defunct RVLT. Afterall, the restaurant shares the same entrance as Danish design house Fritz Hansen, where its interior is designed in collaboration with Fritz Hansen. The team here doesn’t really define its food by a particular cuisine, and there are bound to be familiar flavours judging from what I had. There is a weekday S$28.80 Set Lunch (salad, a choice of pasta, and a drink (iced tea, lemonade, or coffee). Otherwise from the ala carte lunch menu, you can expect locally inspired pastas on the menu like the Hua Diao Mussels Linguine (S$19.80) and Chicken Rendang Homemade Ravioli (S$19.80), where my pick goes to the latter where I enjoyed the punchy flavours of the homemade ‘rempah’. In terms of dinner service, it is a completely different menu from lunch where you can expect a 6-course tasting menu (S$98). The dinner menu officially launches from September or October onwards, but if you are keen to check it out, feel free to call the team to reserve a table even before its official launch. A little of a IYKYK (if you know you know) approach by the team here. [Read more here for our full review

Gwangjang Gaon
Newly opened in Jewel Changi Airport is Gwangjang Gaon, opened by Korean culinary Professor Hyo Soon Park. This is the first overseas outpost in Singapore, where the casual 52-seater Korean restaurant is located on level two of the mall with an outdoor terrace view of the vortex rain. Known in Korea as Gwangjangdong Gaon in Korea after the street it is located on, Gwangjang Gaon is the brainchild of traditional cuisine researcher, Professor Hyo Soon Park who has a rich background in traditional Korean cooking. [Read more here for our full review

The Tea Room At The St. Regis Singapore
There has been quite a couple of updates to The St. Regis Singapore in terms of the updates to their rooms currently, a revamped Astor Grill, and the latest is the newly redesigned Tea Room. Located at the lobby right beside Astor Grill, the new space of Tea Room is much more inviting than what I remember it to be as it is less dim for one. The Tea Room’s new Summer Garden Afternoon Tea (S$65 per person) ritual begins with a glass of Copenhagen sparkling tea and choice of coffee or tea, brewed tableside by a tea sommelier. Pick you tea, before savoury bites are presented in a wooden box, followed by sweet treats and scones. [Read more here for our full review

Fi-Woodfire Thai
There are quite a couple of changes to the food offerings at Shaw Centre and the newest to open is Singapore’s first woodfire Thai restaurant, Fi-Woodfire Thai which has opened at level two of the mall after a successful run at Robertson Walk. With the new venue, there are new dishes introduced to the menu where you can expect the likes of Watermelon with Fish Floss, River Prawn with Thai Garlic Chips, and more. The lunch sets start from S$12, with highlights like the Smoked Coconut Chicken Rice Bowl (S$12), Green Curry Braised Beef Rice (S$16), and Laksa Siam (S$16) – a rich, coconut-based broth served DIY-style with crab, shrimp, and fresh vegetables. [Read more here for our full review

Borderless Coffee
A new hole-in-the-wall coffee in Jalan Sultan where you can pick up your drink from the window! The one-day old Borderless Coffee is now at the cross junction of Jalan Sultan and Victoria Street, with bakes like financiers and sticky date pudding to go along with your coffee by barista owner Samuel. Coffee beans are from Curate Coffee Roasters from KL with tea options such as Matcha and Hojicha latte as well. It is primarily a takeaway concept though there are plenty of benches in the common area right beside the coffeeshop.

Buzzing Restaurants

‘Memories of Shanghai’ At Min Jiang at Dempsey
Egg Fried Rice with Hairy Crab, Crab Roe and Crab Meat? One of the best rice dishes I have had recently! I love this dish from the specially curated à la carte menu – ‘Memories of Shanghai’ – at Min Jiang at Dempsey, available from 1 July to 31 August 2025, in celebration of Goodwood Park Hotel’s 125th Anniversary. The crabmeat is amazingly good and once mixed with the rice, it results in a soft texture with a burst of flavours. Wow. The other highlight is the Steamed Lobster and Egg White with Sha Cha Sauce which has a base of fluffy egg white ‘custard’ that soaks up the umami sha cha sauce and handmade lobster ‘balls’. Other limited time dishes to expect include the Chilled Chicken with Pu Ning Bean Paste topped with caviar and the Crispy Iberico Meatball with Balsamic Vinegar where the Iberico pork is encased in a golden crust paired with aged balsamic sauce!

Din Tai Fung’s Newest RWS Outlet Has A Cocktail Bar
One of the first few restaurants to open at the newly revamped dining zone Weave @ Resorts World Sentosa is Din Tai Fung’s newest restaurant, also the brand’s first elevated dining concept in Singapore, and its first restaurant in Asia to feature a bespoke cocktail and premium tea bar. Located at level two of Weave, it is a huge dining space with a cocktail bar counter, private room and different dining zones. There are many dishes which are only exclusive to this outlet such as the likes of Steamed Beef Tenderloin Xiao Long Bao, Honey & Vinegar Short Ribs, and bar bites to complement the cocktails like Taiwanese street snacks such as Taiwanese Fried Chicken and Taiwanese Crispy Battered Squid. Chef’s special include the luxe Fried Cod Bites, and a signature main which is only found here – the delicious Premium Lobster Dry Noodle in Chef’s Seafood Sauce which comes with thick and chunky lobster meat.

Anju ‘s New Menu Is Still A Hit
One of the contemporary Korean restaurants I have gone back repeatedly over the years. I started my meal with the Buckwheat Crepe, a light roll with Pickled Radish, Egg, Pickled Mushroom, Prawn and Dijon Mustard; before moving to the refreshing Bangeo – a Yellowtail ceviche dish with Carrot Kimchi and Earl Grey Dongchim. Meats are a highlight at Anju, and each one I had is excellent. The Dwaeji Deungsim features tender Grilled Iberico Pork along with Barley Ssamjang and Pickled Radish, while the Spicy Dalk Galbi is a delicious Oven Baked Spicy Chicken with Cashew Nuts and Spring Onion. If you love beef, there is a secret off menu item – La Galbi served with their house-made green chilli sauce. For sides, I recommend the Hogam Jeon and you need to add on Mozzarella Cheese to this ultra crisp pancake of Potato, Zucchini, Prawn and Onion Pickle.

The Only Colombian Restaurant In Singapore Latido Spots A New Menu
Back at Latido for dinner and food is still as good and interesting as I remember. The team had made some changes to their menu with new dishes, though you can still expect signatures like their Homemade Rye Bread. Dishes to expect include Chicken Heart with Andes Potato and Red Wine; Sawara Ceviche topped with Lime Pearls; Green Plantain with Stracciatella; Octopus with Avocado and Guindilla Pepper, and more.

Joo Chiat’s Gem Asador Has A New Menu
This Spanish restaurant often goes a little under the radar due to its location, but it has steadily been around for a few years by now. Asador is known for its slow-roasted meats and traditional Spanish cooking over open flames, and it just launched a refreshed seasonal menu recently – think in-house dry-aged meats, suckling pig carved tableside, fire-roasted mussels in Nduja cream, and house-made Basque cheesecake. The Jamón Ibérico is hand-carved and is from 100% acorn-fed ham served with cristal bread & grated tomato; then on to the Anchoas which is a delicious Santoña’s premium 00 anchovies set on toast. The Tartar dish is Wagyu beef tartare set on fried polenta, and it is served table side. Protein wise, I tried the Mejillones which is a generous portion of mussels with Nduja cream and cherry tomatoes. One of our favourite items is the Pollo where the roasted chicken with prunes, olives and shallot is very tender and flavourful.
