What’s Buzzing? While there are many buffet restaurants in Singapore, there are not many which offers a specialised steak buffet. I checked out the 90-min Free Flow Argentinian Steaks at Bochinche located on Club Street, which is available every Saturday and any Public Holiday for S$55++ per person. 

What To Expect? For 90 minutes, you get to enjoy unlimited Argentinian 200g Ribeye or Argentinian Sirloin 200g. During my visit, options on the menu include the Signature Argentinian “Frimsa” Ribeye 200g, British Angus Cattle, Grass Fed, 28-Days Wet Aged Buenos Aires and the Signature Argentinian “Frimsa” Sirloin 200g, British Angus Cattle, Grass Fed, 28-Days Wet Aged Buenos Aires. 

The sirloin steak is flavourful and for medium-rare, it is succulent enough for my liking. The ribeye, on the other hand, is slightly fattier in taste profile but still succulent nonetheless. 

While the ribeye and sirloin should be sufficient for most diners to alternate in the 90 minutes, there is also an option to add on S$10++ to try the Australian Wagyu Skirt – “Robbins Island” Wagyu Inside Skirt 200g Full Blood Wagyu Cattle, Grass – Cereal Fed, 38-Days Wet Aged New South Wales. This is definitely fattier in flavour profile as compared to the sirloin or ribeye, and it is also cooked with a smokier char to the meat. 

If you need some sides to balance out the unlimited meats, you can also add on S$8++ each for free-flow Provencal Fries or Australia Mixed Green Salad with Balsamic Dressing 

Some pointers to take note for this free flow promotion is that no takeaway is allowed and there is also no sharing except for children below 10 years old (Children below 10 years old dine for free). You also can’t pre-order more than one portion per time (200g) and the free flow is available only 90 minutes starting from your reservation time. 

Overall Experience If you are a big steak lover, this is a really good deal at Bochinche. The quality of the steaks is good and despite being unlimited with a high volume of orders, the steaks are able to maintain a good quality over the grill. I also have to applaud the staff for being very enthusiastic to take my order whenever I am about to be done with my current plate of steak, and the wait time for a new plate of steak is very short which is great for diners.
