Food Scoops: Le Pristine Singapore Unveils New Sunday Brunch Buffet

What’s Buzzing? New Sunday Brunch alert in town and this time it is at one of our favourite restaurants in Orchard Road, Le Pristine Singapore located at the Grand Hyatt Singapore. Conceived by Sergio Herman, former three Michelin-starred chef at Oud Sluisin the Netherlands, the Sunday Brunch buffet is available from 12pm to 3pm and priced at S$135 per person with the option of adding on a 2.5-hour free-flow beverage package, starting from S$50 per person.

In addition, the Sunday evening continues with The Sunday Supper from 6pm to 9pm and priced at S$125 per person. It essentially builds on the brunch’s offerings with the same cold and seafood selections, complemented by a choice of mains including Sergio’s Father’s Fish Soup, lamb with eggplant and tomato, seafood orecchiette, and chicken vol-au-vent.

What To Expect? A fun, cool dining ambience for a relaxed Sunday, coupled with a live DJ spinning music to add to the convivial atmosphere.

The Sunday Brunch buffet menu features a cold selection featuring Salad Le PristineVitello Tonnato, and Pumpkin Burrata. The dishes are all presented in a buffet style where each station is well-spaced from the other.

The seafood bar offers Hamachi, TunaIrish Mor Oysters, and Gambero Rosso with fingerlime, while the live stations serve Pizzette MarinaraRavioli Ricotta Verbena, and Barbecue Gambero

One of the signatures served is also Sergio’s Father’s Fish Soup, a robust bowl of seafood soup and also one of the newest items on their ala carte menu.

There is also a pastry station where you can get your croissant and bread fix as well.

For desserts, there is a dedicated sweet bar offering Soft-serve with toppingsTiramisuPanna CottaChocolate Tart, Madeleines, and more.

Overall Experience I find the whole presentation and format of this Sunday brunch buffet a refreshing departure from the typical ones in town. There is the hip factor coupled with the edgy vibes of the interior of Le Pristine where the buffet goes for quality spread over quantity, which might just be what the discerning diners fancy.
