Food Scoops: The Best Afternoon Tea Dining Experience In Singapore
Tea Lounge At Conrad Singapore Orchard
As one of the most popular and renowned Afternoon Tea experiences in Singapore, Tea Lounge at Conrad Singapore Orchard provides a comfortable botanical inspired interior amidst the hotel’s lobby. There are two distinct experiences, Weekday Afternoon Tea which is a three-tier presentation blending British tradition with Asian flair, featuring delicate pastries, savoury bites, and a curated selection of premium teas; and a more lavish Weekend High Tea Buffet which showcases a spread of Western and Asian delicacies, including local specialties, paired with artisanal teas and champagne, served in two seatings. The weekend buffet is great if you like a good mix of savoury dishes rather than the typical sweet-centric afternoon tea menus.

The Tea Room At The St. Regis Singapore
Located at the lobby right beside Astor Grill, the new space of Tea Room is much more inviting than what I remember it to be as it is less dim for one. The Tea Room’s new Summer Garden Afternoon Tea (S$65 per person) ritual begins with a glass of Copenhagen sparkling tea and choice of coffee or tea, brewed tableside by a tea sommelier. Pick you tea, before savoury bites are presented in a wooden box, followed by sweet treats and scones. [Read more here for our full review]

Ginger.Lily At Hilton Singapore Orchard
Located on level five in Hilton Singapore Orchard, Ginger.Lily is a botanical-inspired lobby lounge and bar in the heart of the elegant hotel lobby. The format of the afternoon tea is through a journey style where it typically starts with a welcome drink, starters, followed by the various sweets and savoury items presented in a story book design.

If you love a thematic afternoon tea, this is one gorgeous to check out. The Shanghai Tang-themed afternoon tea experience at the Lobby Lounge in Mandarin Oriental Singapore is a harmonious blend of floral elegance and Oriental allure. The curated ensemble of sweet and savoury delights takes on layers of floral essence and citrus notes with highlights like the Jade Roll, a refreshing celtuce infused with osmanthus, and the Moonlit Zest, a cocoa nib choux with zesty marmalade orange confit. Moonlit Afternoon Tea is available daily from 1pm to 5pm at Lobby Lounge from now till 31 October 2025.
