Lounge Review: TIAT Lounge Tokyo Haneda Terminal 3 | Basic Lounge With Runway View
The Lounge Tokyo Haneda Airport is known for its efficiency, cleanliness, and understated elegance. When I found myself with a few hours to spare before a long-haul flight, I decided to check out the TIAT Lounge Tokyo Haneda Terminal 3 —the only Priority Pass-accessible lounge in the international terminal.

The lounge is located just past immigration, up an escalator to the fourth floor. It is easy to find, and the signage is clear. One of the biggest perks of this lounge is that it is open 24/7, making it a rare haven for travelers with overnight layovers or early morning departures.

Stepping inside, the lounge felt modest in size and design. It is essentially one large room with seating arranged to face the windows, offering decent views of the apron and runway.

I do appreciate the beautiful runway view and the city view of Tokyo on a clear day.

For aviation enthusiasts, this is a nice touch—there is always something happening outside. The seating itself is functional but uninspiring, and the overall aesthetic leans more towards utilitarian than luxurious. The good thing is that there is a charging point at each seat.

Access If you hold DragonPass (MasterCard Travel Pass), you can access at all times. For Priority Pass holders, access is only granted from 1am to 5am which is quite a crappy time.
First and Business Class passengers: Passengers flying in these classes on eligible airlines (such as ANA Group or Star Alliance carriers) can access the lounge.
Frequent flyer members: Elite status holders like ANA Diamond/Platinum, Star Alliance Gold, and JAL Diamond/JGC Premier members are eligible for access.
The Food Now, let’s talk about the food. The buffet is located near the entrance and, frankly, it is not the lounge’s strongest feature. Expect the likes of fried chicken, grilled rice balls (onigiri), instant noodles, fried yakisoba, soft pretzel dogs, edamame, potato chips, and scones.

It felt more like a convenience store snack shelf than a curated lounge menu. That said, everything was clean and well-stocked, and the fried chicken was surprisingly tasty.

For dessert, there is a small selection including Häagen-Dazs ice cream, which was a pleasant surprise for me. The drink station featured a soda machine, juice dispenser, coffee and tea, and a self-pouring beer machine — a fun and very Japanese touch.

There is also a small selection of liquor, red and white wine, and sake, which added a bit of sophistication to an otherwise basic spread.

The Facilities The lounge also includes a smoking room, luggage storage, and shower suites. If you wish to take a shower, you need to register at the reception.
The showers are clean and functional, though not luxurious. Toiletries are provided in reusable containers.

Rants The food selection is not awesome while shower facilities are basic.
Overall Experience In summary, the TIAT Sky Lounge is a practical option if you are flying out of Haneda Terminal 3 and have Priority Pass access. It is clean, quiet, and open around the clock. However, if you have access to airline-operated lounges like Cathay Pacific or Japan Airlines First Lounge, those are far superior in terms of design, food, and amenities.
