Lounge Review: EVA Air The Infinity Lounge, Taoyuan Airport Terminal 2
The Lounge I managed to check out EVA Air The Infinity Lounge located in Taoyuan Airport Terminal 2 when I was flying out from Taoyuan Airport to Singapore Changi Airport, where The Infinity Lounge shares the same reception as The Star Lounge which is just adjacent to The Infinity Lounge.

The lounge is located in Terminal 2, Level 4 (airside), situated near the central immigration checkpoint and opposite the C-sector departure gates. After passing through immigration, take the escalators up to the 4th floor and look for the EVA Air exclusive lounges.

Take a left turn from the reception and it is The Infinity Lounge, which is modern in design, and I was a tad disappointed that there is no runway view nor natural light.

What struck me most are the long row of seats for solo travellers or couples, as there are solo seats with privacy, though some parts of the lounge feel quite open such that there is little privacy.

Access BR Royal Laurel / Premium Laurel / Business Class and Star Alliance First/Business Class travelers can access The Infinity.
The Food It is a decent buffet selection as I visited during breakfast hours. Nothing too fancy really. You get the usual salad, some cooked Chinese dishes like dim sum, fried eggs, soba, and nothing too memorable for me.

For an airline whose home ground is Taoyuan International Airport, I find it disappointing that there is no live stations to dish out beef noodles at the minimum.
For dessert, there is a small selection including Häagen-Dazs ice cream(thankfully), which was a pleasant surprise for me.

The Facilities Limited shower facilities, lockers and baby changing room are available. If you wish to take a shower, you need to register at the reception. Note that it can take up to an hour to wait for your shower since there are only four shower rooms.

The showers are clean and functional, though not luxurious.

Rants The food selection is not awesome while shower facilities are basic.
Overall Experience In summary, EVA Air The Infinity Lounge is quite basic in my opinion, as I benchmarked it against other Business Class lounges like The Pier Business Lounge in HKIA or JAL Sakura Lounge Sky View in Terminal 3 of Tokyo Haneda Airport. If you do not intend to shower, 30 minutes is good enough to grab a light bite and charge your phone. Otherwise, it is not worth to head here early just to use the facilities.
