Hotel Review: Grand Copthorne Waterfront Staycation

The Place Well well, Staycation seems to be the buzz word in the recent years. With expensive air tickets and the hours spent flying, sometimes just a weekend timeout from your home seemed perfect to spend the weekend! That said, with so many hotels in Singapore, it is sometimes a struggle to decide which hotel to spend our weekends at!

Grand Copthorne Waterfront, one of the flagship hotel under the Millennium and Copthorne group in Singapore, is right along the Singapore River at the corner of the chic Roberston Quay district. It may not be the newest kid on the block, but this hotel gives you some of the most value-for-money staycation packages and its awesome location between the restaurants the lined along the Quay to the Singapore’s favourite nightclub Zouk, to being in walking distance to Great World City and the ever popular Zion Road Food Centre! Hotel guest also enjoy complimentary shuttle bus service to Chinatown Point and Dhoby Ghaut.

What’s an awesome staycation without having it in style? Their latest “Rest & Relax” package gives you nothing less than the Executive Suite of their hotel – which is located at the top floors of the 30-storey hotel!

Their Executive Suite gives you a full length window to watch the entire city go by during the weekend – and you, just enjoying the view at your most dreamy state of mind! If you don’t mind paying it up, you can even get the view of our city skyline.

Executive Suite has to come with Executive service. The complimentary access to the Executive Club Lounge gives you round the clock (almost) free beverages and snacks from Breakfast to High Tea to Evening Drinks (including unlimited cocktails and vodka), this is the place to let yourself unwind after a long week at work.

Part of the Rest and Relax package includes the River taxi ride for 2 persons to the Marina Bayfront area, which got us quite excited. This was my first time on the river cruise along the Singapore River, seeing all the major sights in Singapore from the water! We almost become a tourist in our own country….

We enjoyed more than we are telling you now. The package also come with a $50 dining voucher to be used at either of the hotel’s restaurants (Cafe Brio’s and Pontini). Be sure to read on…….
