Food Review: Tuk Tuk Cha at Suntec City | Singapore’s answer to Bangkok After You’s Shibuya Toast
The Place Tucked along the busy retail booths between the office buildings of Suntec Ciy, Tuk Tuk Cha is a Thai-dessert heaven for the office crowd and of course, for any sweet-tooth folks! While there are limited seats here, the warm service from the folks behind the small counters will definitely warm your hearts a little.
The Food What’s any Thai eatery without my favourite Thai Milk Tea ($2.80)?! At Tuk Tuk Cha, they are also serving another two crowd favourites, their Thai Milk Coffee ($2.80) and Thai Green Milk Tea ($2.80). The Thai drinks here gets my vote as one of the most authentic in Singapore, and will encourage you to give the Thai Milk Coffee a try – you will be delighted once you take your first sip!
Another must-try here are the Golden Toast ($3.80), with more than 11 dips to choose from. Recommending you to go straight for their popular choices Pandan Kaya, Taro Kaya and Thai Tea Kaya. And if you can’t make up your mind on which dip to choose from, you can get additional dips for just $1.00 each! The toast itself are buttery and crisp, once dipped with any of the Kaya choices, you probably wouldn’t want to share this with your friends any more.
Tuk Tuk Cha knows what most Singaporeans head to Bangkok for, and not surprisingly, they have just introduced their latest dessert Shibuya Toast ($10.80) too. Served in 4 different renditions, the Mango Tango, Aloha Coconut, Tuk Tuk Matcha and Chocolate Goodies, these toast are presented with ice cream too!
The staff highly recommended us to go for their Aloha Coconut, with Thailand-imported Coconut flesh and Coconut ice cream! Less sweet than the Bangkok’s After You, but it was nothing short of pure happiness while having it. The crispy toast, with the refreshing coconut ice cream, this is Singapore’s answer to After You!
Rants There are not enough seats. But hey, that’s not going to stop you from “tabao-ing” their drinks!
Will I Return Again? We hardly say this, but it is a resounding yes. In fact, I have gone back there thrice by now and not once did I regret it.

This looks amazing. I really must try Tuk Tuk Cha soon, especially now since Shibuya Toast at Maxwell has long since closed. Where else can we buy Shibuya Toast in SG?! At least Tuk Tuk Cha fills the gap.
