What’s buzzing? For the month of October, L’Espresso at Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore has launched a limited-edition English Afternoon Tea buffet with Pink Treats in light of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every guest who dines on the English Afternoon Tea buffet in October will also receive a Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) pink ribbon pin worth S$2, which the hotel will donate to BCF the value of the total number of pins given out. In the same month, guests who wish to make a minimum $2 donation or more for the pins may do so at The Deli via a BCF donation box. All donations received will go to BCF.

The pink highlights We were quite surprised by the number of possible savoury and dessert items dressed in pink when we checked out the Afternoon Tea buffet. Some of the unmissable treats include the Egg mayonnaise pink Sakura denbu finger sandwiches; Atlantic shrimp cocktail with raspberry aioli and Smoked salmon with beetroot mousse and avruga caviar open-faced sandwiches; Beetroot smoked salmon with condiments; Salmon rillettes; beetroot cream cheese with pine nuts; Crispy potato prawns with mentaiko dip; Crispy oyster mushrooms with smoky tomato aioli; as well as Gluten-free pasta with garlic prawns and tomato cream.

That said, the all-time favourites like the scones, antipasti and hot savouries such as the Pork goulash in hot pot served with warm brioche will still be available during this promotion.

For desserts, I personally love the Pink berries macarons. Of course, that is merely the tip of the iceberg. You can also look forward to Pink donuts, Pink vanilla éclairs, Rose petals delight, Mini raspberry cupcakes, Strawberry tartlets and Strawberry panna cotta. There are also Strawberry chocolates and Framboise chocolates, along with the Pink chocolate fountain.
