Food Review: Grammi By Michelin-Starred Chef Beppe De Vito | Online Restaurant With Comforting Italian-Mediterranean Dishes
The Place Another virtual restaurant I tried recently after Miss Vanda, Grammi is a brand new digital dining platform by Michelin-Starred Chef Beppe De Vito (Braci, Amo) which offers a diverse and affordable selection of Italian-Mediterranean dishes. Grammi is available for islandwide delivery and self pick-ups.
The Food A quick glance on the website and there is a very good mix of food ranging from ready-to-eat, grocery and drinks staples.
For one, I started with the Burrata Salad (S$18), which has a mix of pumpkin, truffle pesto and hazelnuts. Very fresh flavour of the burrata here, I really enjoyed the combination of the ingredients.
For pasta, go for the Baked Caserecce (S$16.90). Think truffle, porcini mushrooms, pumpkin and smoked mozzarella, the texture of the pasta is awesome and the taste is delicious. I love truffle and mushrooms, so it can’t go that wrong for me.
Dishes aside, there are also bento options on the menu and I had the Chicken Bento (S$14.80). This is a fuss-free all in one option, and this bento features free range chicken which is very tender. It also comes with 2 sides of your choice.
There is also a Grocery section on the menu where you can purchase the ingredients and it takes simple heating up or preparation at home. I had the Seafood Soup (Grocery, S$10.50), which is rich in flavour and I simply heat the soup up in the microwave. Other fuss-free options on the menu include sandwiches.
Rants Frankly, I do not have much rants about Grammi as I welcome the affordability of good quality Italian dishes with no minimum order required.
Will I Return Again? Hearty Italian dishes at affordable prices, Grammi is worth trying if you are craving for Italian food yet too lazy to head out.
