La Vache!
Located at Gemmill Lane, La Vache! is the latest kid on the block located on one of the most hidden dining lanes in Singapore, Gemmill Lane. The name La Vache! is the French expression for ‘Holy Cow!’, where the theme of the French restaurant honours the enduring legacy of L’Entrecôte which is an integral part of classic French dining. A very straightforward and brainless menu where the restaurant offers a standard set menu at S$68++ per person which essentially gets you salad, steak, and unlimited fries. Excellent and good value steak frites in the CBD. [Read more here for our full review]

54° Steakhouse
Located at the buzzing Amoy Street, 54° Steakhouse is the latest kid on the block in the CBD by Group Executive Chef Andrea De Paola, also by the group behind Altro Zafferano and Griglia. The name 54° Steakhouse is inspired by the ideal internal temperature of a perfect medium-rare steak, where this is a modern steakhouse concept offering premium cuts from around the world, with exclusive cuts from Black Market beef by Rangers Valley only available at 54° Steakhouse. Steaks are grilled over ironbark wood and white binchotan. [Read more here for our full review]

Tensei by Sushi Yuki
Three unique concepts in one destination – this new shophouse space at Club Street is a Xijiu Exclusive Counter on level one, Tempura and Teppanyaki Dining one level two, and Tatenokawa Exclusive Counter on level three. Their dining on level two is a mix of Tempura and Teppanyaki with seasonal creations that rotate regularly, alongside signatures such as the Amaebi Tempura, marinated in a house-made Xijiu Shoyu. Another highlight is the Wagyu Beef Tempura, finished with shaved truffle.

NAE:UM Reopened With Gorgeous Revamped Space
As one of the best contemporary Korean restaurants in Singapore, the Michelin one-starred NAE:UM reopened last month after a complete revamp of its space. The inspiration of NAE:UM’s new space stems from the hanok – a traditional Korean house – where the interior takes on a soft neutral tone with an exposed beam ceiling in the main dining hall. For its menu, Chef Louis presents ‘Contemporary Korean cuisine’ through stories instead of episodes previously. Standouts for me include the Seabream with lemon and daikon; chef’s signature Buckwheat noodle with white kimchi and morel dumpling; and Samegarei fish with a rich maeuntang butter sauce in a spicy seafood broth. Le Pristine Singapore Unveils New Sunday Brunch Buffet
One of my favourite restaurants in town launched a new Sunday Brunch buffet available from 12pm to 3pm and priced at S$135 per person. There is the option of adding on a 2.5-hour free-flow beverage package, starting from S$50 per person. Expect a fun and cool dining ambience for a relaxed Sunday, coupled with a live DJ spinning music to add to the convivial atmosphere. The Sunday Brunch buffet menu features a cold selection featuring Salad Le Pristine, vitello tonnato, and pumpkin burrata. The dishes are all presented in a buffet style where each station is well-spaced from the other. The seafood bar offers hamachi, tuna, Irish Mor oysters, and gambero rosso with fingerlime, while the live stations serve pizzette marinara, ravioli ricotta verbena, and barbecue gambero. One of the signatures served is also Sergio’s Father’s Fish Soup, a robust bowl of seafood soup and also one of the newest items on their ala carte menu. For desserts, there is a dedicated sweet bar offering soft-serve with toppings, tiramisu, panna cotta, chocolate tart, madeleines, and more. [Read more here for our full review]

Artichoke Is Now Artichoke Pizza Parlor
Located at New Bahru, Artichoke is not a new restaurant in Singapore but after 15 good years, chef-owner Bjorn Shen has transformed the brand from a Middle Eastern concept to a pizza parlor. Meet Artichoke Pizza Parlor, a new-school pizza joint with old-school soul. With a dough formula years in the making, two different crisp crusts and three types of pizzas — slabs, stacks, and rounds — and unique toppings, do not come here expecting traditional Italian-style pizzas. To go with the pizza, snacks, sharing plates, desserts, and beverages make up the rest of the menu. [Read more here for our full review]
