Food Review: Equinox | The panoramic view of Singapore at Swissôtel The Stamford

The Place As one of the highest restaurants in Singapore located at level 70 of Swissotel, Equinox is definitely one of the most cosy places to have a meal at any time of the day. The view of Singapore city skyline is breathtaking even for a local like myself.

The panoramic view of Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer from the bay window seats in Equinox.

The Food  The main highlight of having lunch at Equinox is the Semi-Lunch Buffet which I feel is lacking in Singapore. Apart from the usual buffet spread, you can also order a main course from the menu, usually up to four mains to select from. The menu varies from time to time so the next time you revisit Equinox for the Semi-Lunch Buffet, it is highly likely that there is a whole new selection to choose from. At $59++ without any promotions, this is reasonably priced considering that it is housed in a five star hotel coupled with the awesome city view.

Fans of Japanese food and seafood have reasons to rejoice as there is a great selection of Sashimi, Sushi, Soba, Oysters, Prawns and even Foie Gras to feast on from the buffet spread, just to name a few. I shall let the pictures do the talking.

is always a main highlight of any buffet for me and I am pleased to say that the selection here is reasonably good. My favourite picks are the delectable home made ice- cream as well as the macaroons.

Last but not least, the buffet is concluded with your choice of coffee or tea.

Will I Return Again?
An absolute yes, as the dining experience at level 70 is way too awesome. It is definitely a very relaxing place for lunch; once in a while of course unless you have deep pockets to spare.
