Mention cafes and Duxton Road has no lack of choices. The Department Of Cafe is a cafe which serves brunch on weekends as well as desserts such as waffles and cakes. We like the no frills layout of the cafe and simple fact that it serves quality coffee. Not the most cosy spot to chill for as long as you wish but definitely quality assuring in its coffee.

Jewel Cafe & Bar
Rangoon Road has come to life recently with the opening of Jewel Cafe, the sister cafe of its Shenton Way branch. With Liberty Coffee just next door, the owners must be very confident of its very own roasted beans, sourced from as far as Brazil to the neighbouring Sumatra. Other than coffee, watch out for the legendary OMG! burger. If your idea of a perfect weekend is lazing in a laidback cafe tucked away from town, then Jewel Cafe is a good option.
