What’s the theme: From 5 November to 4 December 2015, Oscar’s restaurant at Conrad Centennial Singapore will be running the “Savouring Latin America” buffet them to showcase the highlights of Latin America cuisine. What to look out for: Seafood selections such as Chilean Scallop, Chilean Mussel and King Crab, Mexican Nachos with Dip (salsa pico de gallo), mains with the likes of Brazilian Feojada de Porko (Black beans stew with pork sausage), Mexican Pescado a la Veracruzna (Fish cooked in tomato sauce, capers and bell pepper), live carving stations showcasing the Argentinean Pierna de Cordero y Chimichurri (Roasted leg of lamb with Chimichurri sauce), street food such as Mexican Beef Tacos and Cuban Churros with Chocolate Sauce. End off with desserts like the Ecuadorian Torta da Maiz con Vanilla Sauce (Corn cake with vanilla sauce) and the Peruvian Suspiro Limeno (Peruvian dessert).
The damage: Prices start from $59++ per adult and $29.50++ per child for lunch, and from $69++ per adult and $34.50++ per child for dinner.
