Snippets: Remède Spa at The St. Regis Singapore | Wellness treat for the soul

I must confess I don’t do spa regularly, but when I do, I make sure it’s the best. We had the opportunity to check out Remède Spa during our stay at the St. Regis Singapore, its resident spa brand located at level two of the hotel.

The Spa The space of Remède Spa is not huge, but definitely a cosy one. From the moment I entered, the strong water theme resonates within the space, from the water bubbles ornaments at the entrance to the post-treatment lounge. Every treatment signed up at Remède Spa allows you to use the spa facilities, such as the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.

The Facilities We were recommend to use the spa facilities prior to our treatments. I love how well-maintained the facilities are – spacious shower facilities, bathrobes and slippers in our lockers, compartmentalised cubicles within the steam room and even a mini outdoor garden for some fresh air.

The Treatments
On to the main point, the treatments we signed up for. I had the Definitive Men’s Facial while our Rantee went for the Chi Nei Tsang treatment here at Remède Spa. I like how customised my facial treatment was, as my therapist first consulted with me on my main facial problems and focus areas, which I had highlighted dullness of skin, dark circles and black heads. In the course of the treatment, she paid close attention in terms of cleansing my skim via extraction, especially the black heads on my nose. It was then followed by a cool layer of mask to give my face more glow. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of the facial treatment as it was very professionally done. I guess I need to pay more attention to my skin regime from now onwards.

For Chi Nei Tsang, it focuses on massaging your abdomen to restore the balance and energy to the entire body. During the last 20 minutes of the massage, the therapist will further focus on releasing the tightness and strains of your body, ensuring the Qi in the body flows through well. Highly recommending folks who are looking for a massage to balance their body up. After the massage, chocolates and a choice of your TWG tea flavour were served, where I was shown to the resting lounge for some relaxation moments.

Overall Experience I am not a tai tai, but it is always nice to pamper yourself once in a while. The facilities are well-maintained, while the staff is professionally trained and made me feel at ease during my visit. I felt really relaxed after my treatment at Remède Spa, and I know it will not be my last visit.
