What’s Buzzing? If you were to ask us which restaurant offers the best dining view of Singapore, Equinox Restaurant is definitely on our top list. Located at level 70 of Swissôtel The Stamford, the restaurant has recently launched its Sunday Vintage Brunch buffet, accompanied with an unlimited flow of Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2006.

The Highlights Some of the notable highlights at the Modern European restaurant during the Sunday Brunch include the seafood with Boston lobster, three types of international oysters (Traigheanna Bay, Oléron and French), Sri Lankan crab and prawns, Japanese counter featuring a range of sashimi from tuna, salmon, Hokkigai, Hamachi and Tako, as well as a selection of international cheeses accompanied with fresh grapes, fig chutneys, poached quince and pickles.

In addition, the live carving station is where you can load up your meats, with selections like the Angus beef rib with red wine and Béarnaise sauce, and the salt-crust baked sea bass served with wasabi butter. Look our for some weekly specials as well specially crafted by its Chef de Cuisine Paul Hallett, who hails from Wales, showcasing items such as salmon wellington, pulled pork toast, salt cod croquetas and roasted scallops.

Aside from the buffet line, you will also get to choose from the weekly a la carte menu such as Baked Norwegian Salmon and Roasted Scallops.

Desserts include the likes of Kir Royale champagne cassis, Jivara milk chocolate blue Choux, red ruby peach with wine jelly and banana opera amidst others.

What’s Different? There are live activities while you dine, such as a live band and magician performance from table to table. The restaurant also offers a kids room where parents can leave their children in the good hands of a nanny. Other features include a Wii video game system, interactive toys and a kids’ buffet of chicken nuggets, fish fingers and fries. They also have the opportunity to design their own cookies.
