Nanjing Impressions – For those looking for something different
This popular chain of restaurant from Nanjing opened its doors in Singapore late last year at Plaza Singapura to much excitement to the native Chinese. No one says food delivery has to be the predictable options, and Nanjing Impressions will definitely be one option to deliver on unique flavours. Some inspiration of what to order as recommended in our earlier review article – get the Baby Rooster Stew with Crispy Sesame Bun (S$25.47) and have this with the Madam Chiang’s Nutritious Beauty Porridge (S$7.28). Food Delivery doesn’t get any more interesting than this!
Boon Tong Kee – Comfort food at its best
Nothing beats having one of Singapore’s most popular Chicken Rice at the comfort of your home. For under S$25, you can get to enjoy the Half Boiled Chicken (S$19.26) and 2 portions of Chicken Rice (S$2.14)! Of course, if you are looking to indulge in other home cooked style zi char items, Boon Tong Kee has it all. Definitely an ideal option for delivery for the next big party at your home.
Ninja Cut – Your best gym supplement
The space at Ninja Cut is gorgeous, with the food here being equally shiok. Ninja Cut is the more premium sister brand of Ninja Bowl, and is definitely one of the best meal to have after a gym workout, or if you are looking for a more balanced diet option. Order your choice of bowls, with the highly recommended What’s Your Beef (with Base, S$22) and the Gimme Chimi Chicken (with Base, S$18), you can indulge in a healthy meal with your gym buddies. And yes, the slightly more affordable Ninja Bowl is available for delivery too!
Alter Ego – You know you want to sin
If not for its location, we would have visited Alter Ego more often – yes, it’s not that easy a spot to head out to at the Esplanade. Now you can get to bite into the drool-worthy Short-rib Grilled Cheese with Meat (S$17) and the sinful yet appertizing Fried Chicken Skin (S$9) behind your desk while working off the last slide of your presentation. Believe it or not, you can even order your much needed Latte (S$5) to go with your lunch.
Senmi Sushi – That Japanese craze in you in kicking
You may not believe it, but you can enjoy a Japanese omakase meal at your work station. Okay, perhaps not dishes specially selected by the chef, but by merely clicking the honestbee app. Emporium Shokuhin opened with much hype in 2015, but Marina Square may not the most convenient location during your precious 1 hour lunch break. You can get to enjoy its popular Premium Senmi Chirashi Don (S$30.44) or even the sushi platters, such as the Senmi Favourites (S$25.36) which includes 7 different types of sushi like Salmon, Bluefin Tuna, Grilled Eel Sushi, Flounder, Orange Sea Bream, Japanese Sweet Prawn and Tuna Maki! After the S$18 off promotion, you are definitely getting much bang for your buck!
The 1872 Clipper Tea – Craving for that sweet notes for Afternoon Tea
Impress your colleagues with drinks and tea puffs from this local tea company. Get to sip on the refreshing Watermelon Cooler (S$6.20) or the comforting Royal Tea Latte (S$6.20). And yes, order a box of Tea Puffs (S$12.80), which include a Matcha, Eternal Garden, Milk Tea and Earl Grey puffs, to complete the afternoon tea at your office pantry. There’s a list of other iced and hot tea options available too!
Flying Monkey – Getting your hands dirty for that finger licking good naan
For the authentic Indian option, and if you are catering to your vegetarian colleagues and friends, ordering from Flying Monkey will be a perfect choice. The restaurant itself is located at Kampong Glam, which is not a typical office location for lunch, with food delivery making this a much more accessible option now. Go for the Meen Kulambu (S$24 taramind curry fish served with malabar paratha), for a satisfying southern Indian lunch. Or order the highly raved Nalli Gosht (S$26, lamb shank with garlic naan) for the northern Indian flavours. We visited Flying Monkey back in April this year, and now we cannot wait to dip the breads into the luscious curry again!
