Snippets: Savourworld at Science Park | More than 30 dining concepts at Kent Ridge MRT Station!

The Place The newest building at the Singapore Science Park, Ascendas Ascent’s Savourworld is a gourmet destination where 30 concepts gather in a 60,000 sqft of space – although not all concepts are operating as yet, we counted 16 as of early October. Just minutes walk away from Kent Ridge MRT Station, and a stone’s throw from the National University of Singapore campus, this seems like a perfect spot for gatherings or to fix your hunger pangs.

The Concepts Good varieties of cuisines can be found here at Savourworld, from local inspired options, to western cuisine; you will be able to grab some drinks with friends at Savourworld too.

Some of the highlights for us include:

Blue Lotus Chinese Noodle Bar – The third outpost of the Blue Lotus chain, with a branch each at Sentosa and Tanjong Pagar, this outlet focuses primarily on casual oriental fare. Casual vibes with colourful furniture against a somewhat industrial feel, Blue Lotus has a menu packed with wide selections of noodles and bites.

Tokyo Joe – Almost zen-like vibes with white walls and light wood finishings, Tokyo Joe focuses on raw fish with the likes of sushi and chirashi dons. Yakitori gets dished out here as well. Fresh ingredients, easy vibe and relatively affordable pricing.

Wildfire Chicken & Burger – You have seen this around too, at 313 Somerset. Menu remains similar to their other branch, and you can have your burgers with a pint of IPA here too. Nice and cosy indoor tables for the small intimate group, with long and spacious outdoor tables to enjoy the long chats over beer with your kakis.

Licktionary – This months-old Ice Cream shop has some really interesting flavours. Luck gets you a mix of Pineapple, Spice and Cookies; Kampung gives you a taste of Pandan and Gula Melaka. Hopefully you will find a favourite ice cream flavour here, in the gorgeous white and black space.

Coffee Break and Cha Tra Mue – If you are looking for a spot to get some local coffee or everyone’s favourite Thai Milk Tea, both cafes will get you some respite to start the day well. If you are craving for some softserve, Cha Tra Mue offers both Thai Milk Tea and Milk Green Tea softserve!

Blotto Bottles and The Good Beer Company – If alcoholic drinks are your preferred poison, Blotto Bottles gets you your wines, and the Good Beer Company your beer. The latter stocks a good inventory of rather interesting selections, and we even spotted some unique Japanese beers here.

Other concepts at Savourworld includes Ramen Atelier, Garcons Nosh, Modus, Aglio Olio, Ottoman Kebab & Grill, Kick Cafe, Spruce and Indochili (opening soon).
