Whilst you may not have been able to travel the past year, How’s Catering festive dining menus includes favourites from across Asia, including Taiwan’s Taro Ball Dessert and Thailand’s Wok Fried Prawn with Glass Vermicelli. Yi by Jereme Leung
Homecoming restaurant by Singapore chef Jereme Leung, the Chinese restaurant at Raffles Singapore welcomes Lunar New Year with its unique flair like its white floral petals draping the entrance of the restaurant – perhaps amongst one of the most beautiful restaurant’s entrances in Singapore. If you are planning to enjoy fine-dining Chinese restaurant fare at the comfort of your home, do consider Yi’s takeaway set menus. Their Yu Sheng are available for takeaway as well, nicely packed into a nice red octagon box with clear instructions including the greetings to wish your family a huat year ahead! Find out more here.

Reopened after a major renovation, Min Jiang at Goodwood Park Hotel has been an institution, and ever-popular for its festive snacks all year round. This Chinese New Year, you can head over to The Deli and get hold of their goodies including their unique take of pineapple tarts Gong Xi ‘Huat’ Cai which is a pineapple crumble tart. Of course, both restaurants have also launched festive menu for dine-in and takeaways. The restaurant introduced individual yu sheng this year, amidst the ongoing events, with diners able to enjoy a sumptuous lohei with salmon, Japanese Omi A4 Wagyu Beef and Hokkaido Scallops while the service staff share words of good fortune and health. Another dish not to miss is their popular Roasted Suckling Pig with Glutinous Rice and Cured Meats. Find out more here.

15 Stamford by Alvin Leung
Not your typical Chinese New Year meal, be pampered with modern westernised take of Chinese classics as you may have enjoyed previously here at 15 Stamford. In fact, you can also enjoy special Chinese New Year menu at every of the restaurants along the Arcade at The Capitol Kempinski, including Frieda, La Scala, Broadway American Diner and even at Berthold Delikatessen. The pastry team at the hotel did an excellent job this year, and we were in awe of their Chrysanthemun Mousse at 15 Stamford and the Bak Kwa Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake at Berthold.
