Food Scoops: Eat 3 Bowls Station At Pasir Panjang | Casual Taiwanese Dishes Like ‘Lu Rou Fan’ At This Train Theme Restaurant

What’s Buzzing? We may not be able to fly to Taiwan now, so it is great news for Taiwanese food lovers that popular casual Taiwanese restaurant Eat 3 Bowls (呷三碗) has opened their second outlet at Pasir Panjang recently. I first visited Eat 3 Bowls at its Crawford Lane outlet, and love the Taiwanese dishes there.

What To Expect? The first outlet at Crawford Lane takes on a classroom theme, and the Pasir Panjang outlet is decked with a train theme interior. The space is not huge, and you can expect a queue even during off-peak meal hours.

The menu is concise and you can expect some of the Taiwanese delights like Braised Pork Rice (S$5), Tomato Omelette (S$6) and Salted Crispy Chicken (S$7.80).

The Lu Rou Fan or Braised Pork Rice is delicious, and it does remind me of the ones I had in Taiwan.

For drinks, expect the likes of Fresh Milk with Brown Sugar Pearls (S$4.30).
