Food Review: Famous Eunos Bak Chor Mee | One Of The Best & Authentic Bak Chor Mee In Singapore

The Place Located in Hong Lee Coffeeshop near Eunos MRT, I finally checked out Famous Eunos Bak Chor Mee after a failed attempt the first time as the queue was too long. My second visit was not any better but I had more time to spare, and you shouldn’t bat an eyelid if the wait is at least 45 minutes.

The famous noodle store is reportedly one of the earliest descendants of Bak Chor Mee, which has since transformed into one of the most representative hawker dishes of Singapore. It is definitely my go to comfort hawker dish, especially so when it is the dish I crave for the most whenever I am overseas.

The Food The Famous Eunos Bak Chor Mee is very reasonably priced at S$3.50 for its soup and dry version. I managed to try both versions for comparison since it was my first visit.

Thick, cloudy bowl of soup, which is exactly what I expected.

The noodles spot a nice springy texture, and I especially love that there are heaps of crispy pork lard and fried garlic thrown into the bowl of noodles.

The soup is definitely a strong contender here, as I can’t help but finish every drop of it. Very delicious wanton dumplings as well, with a soft texture and minced pork within.

For the dry version, I do find it slightly oily. That said, it is a reminder for myself to ask for less oil in future. It is still a very flavourful bowl of dry noodles, tossed with pork lard and garlic.

Rants Almost inevitable to queue for more than 30 minutes.

Will I Return Again? One of the best soup Bak Chor Mee I have had, this is one stall I will be back again.
