Mashi No Mashi
The ramen brand which opened in Bugis at Guoco Midtown is famous for serving the world’s first and only 100% wagyu ramen. Mashi No Mashi is a concept by Hisato Hamada, founder of Wagyumafia, and this is their first outpost in Southeast Asia where it also has outlets in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Jeddah. Each item on the menu is made exclusively with Chef Hisato’s hand-selected Ozaki beef, known for its rich umami flavour with subtle hints of sweetness. L’antica Pizzeria Da Michele Singapore
Located on level one of the new Mercure Icon Singapore City Centre, L’antica Pizzeria Da Michele Singapore, a longstanding pizza brand from Italy with over 150 years of history, just opened its first Southeast Asia outpost last month along the buzzing Club Street. Founded in 1870 by Michele Condurro, there are two quintessential Neapolitan-style favourites for the pizza – the Margherita (S$28) featuring Agerola Fior di Latte and pecorino Romano DOP, an aged cheese made from sheep milk; as well as the Marinara (S$22) with tomato sauce, garlic and a sprinkle of oregano. The Masses New Dining Space At Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski
Casual French-Asian restaurant The Masses has come quite a long way since 2017 at 85 Beach Road and the good news is that it has relocated to a more spacious new location last month, The Masses At Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski. It now occupies a duplex space in the heart of Cityhall, where the cuisine focuses on Franco-Asian dishes. Helmed by Chef Dylan Ong, the restaurant is still kept casual as how it started back in 2017, except that the menu has evolved with a wide variety of dishes, new and old signatures. New Fifth Anniversary-Exclusive Dishes At Min Jiang At Dempsey
Available from 1 April to 31 May 2024, the anniversary-exclusive dishes will be available in both the a la carte and set menu options. The dishes to expect from the 5-course set menu include the likes of the Trio of Egg Appetisers; Crabmeat with Bamboo Pith in Pomegranate Egg White Parcel and Whole Abalone in Double-boiled Superior Soup; Pan-fried U.S. Kurobuta Pork with Chef’s Secret Sauce and Crabmeat Omelette; Steamed Japanese ‘Mee Sua’ with Langoustine, Caviar and Egg White in Golden Broth; and Deep-fried Purple Sweet Potato Egg Lava Ball with Pistachio Gelato for a sweet finish. Diners will also receive a complimentary bottle of Min Jiang at Dempsey’s homrmade dried shrimp XO sauce (55ml) with every order of the anniversary 5-course set menu.
