The Panda Experience: I had a preview of the set lunch at The Landing Point within The Fullerton Bay Hotel, which is a three-course set comprising of a starter, mains and dessert. I opted for the Traditional French Onion soup with Gruyere Cheese Croutons, which was a good start as it was rich yet not too salty like most French Onion soups around.Mains is a choice between the Duck Confit or the Pan-Roasted Salmon. The Salmon dish hit all the right notes. The salmon skin was especially crispy, while the fish was cooked to the right texture and degree as well. The best compliment is undoubtedly the Saffron Sauce, which further enriched the overall flavour of the dish.
You get to choose their Signature Duck Confit too, which came out pleasantly good with the crisp skin and not-overly-dry meats. Although I will appeal to you to stick to the Salmon, have never been a fan of Duck Confit.
Desserts wise, if there is one rant about the Lemon Meringue Tart with Raspberry Fruit Coulis, I found the portion too huge as the sweet ending. Otherwise, it was a decently done Lemon Tart with a good balance of sweet and sour elements with a crispy base.
