Snippets: New prime grade steaks from Greater Omaha in America at Opus Bar & Grill in Hilton Singapore

What’s buzzing? We have previously mentioned Opus Bar & Grill in Hilton Singapore (read our previous review here) where we tried the Rangers Valley Angus T-bone steak. There are new additions to the comprehensive steak menu, whereby the restaurant recently introduced the prime grade cuts from Greater Omaha in the US. This is in addition to the offerings of Australia prime grade cuts on its menu.

The highlights The new meats from America’s Greater Omaha beef producers are renowned for their consistency in delivering USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) certified, 100 days prime grade, corn-fed beef cuts. It comes in three different cuts of 220g – sirloin, rib-eye and tenderloin, and are priced from S$68++.

Other highlights Opus bar & Grill is not just about the steaks, as the menu also boasts a wide selection of other meats, seafood and grilled skewers. Some new items include the Roasted Sakura chicken (god for two people sharing) and the Wild sea bass served with clams, black mussels, artichokes and vine tomatoes.

For wine drinkers, there is also the “Steak with Free Flow of Wines” special. With any order of prime cuts from the Opus beef selection at S$58++ onwards, you get to choose to enjoy either a two-hour free flow of selected white and red wines from Sunday to Thursday or 50 percent off on wine by the bottle on Friday and Saturday.
