The Place Located in Circuit Road, it is easy to miss Lam Bee Chicken Rice as it is located in a coffeeshop called Grains & Hops. I was recommended to this stall by foodie friends and finally had the chance to check it out. 

The Food The stall sells mainly Roast and Steamed Chicken, Roast Pork Belly and Char Siew. I decided to go for a mix of the Steamed Chicken and Roast Pork Belly. 

The chicken is really good. It is tender, and delicious with the soy sauce. I can just have it with the chilli on its own. 

The rice is not too greasy, though it is slightly on the plain spectrum without the dark sauce and chilli. Overall, it is still not too bad. 

The ‘Sio Bak’ spots bits of crisp for the skin, and is overall tender and good. 

If I were to pick, my favourite component overall is the steamed chicken. 

Rants It will be perfect if the rice is a little more fragrant.

Will I Return Again? Circuit Road is a sleepy estate and Lam Bee Chicken Rice is a gem here. It is not commercialised like other big chicken rice brands, which adds to its charm as well.
