Hotel Review: Holiday Inn Singapore Little India At Farrer Park | Duplex Loft Room Staycation
The Hotel Located in the vibrant Little India precinct right above Farrer Park MRT Station, I checked in to Holiday Inn Singapore Little India (previously Park Hotel Farrer Park) recently for a stay. It is a 20-storey hotel, with a spacious check-in lobby area and a carpark which is directly linked to the hotel lobby.

The Room With 300 rooms fitted with modern amenities, the room category which interest me the most are the loft room types where I stayed in the Queen Bed Premium Loft, a 27sqm duplex loft with a separate living area.

My first impression is the high ceiling, which allows ample natural light in the room during the day. The bathroom is right beside the entrance, and the queen bed is on the upper deck. The stairway design is in a way such that it helps save space in the living area.

The upper deck is relatively spacious, though it may not be as convenient if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The Facilities There is a fitness centre along with an outdoor swimming pool if you need a space to workout. The gym is quite basic, with a treadmill, bench and couple of free weights. The outdoor pool is a decent size, and while it is not an infinity pool, it is fitted with jacuzzi where you can also get a good tan in the day with the ample sun deck chairs.

The Restaurant Blue Jasmine is a Thai restaurant in the property which serves authentic Thai cuisine. It is also the venue for breakfast for hotel guests, which feature a buffet line with a mix of International and local delights.

Rants Some signs of aging in the property but the good thing is that there are plans to renovate the rooms and hotel facilities by this year.
Overall Experience If you love loft hotel stays, this property is worth checking out. The central location is another merit, which gives you a convenient opportunity to explore the vibrant neighbourhood.
