Food Review: Pang Pang Western Food At Marine Parade Central Market and Food Centre | Nostalgic Comfort Western Food At Affordable Prices

The Place Another new stall to satisfy my craving for comforting Western fare, Pang Pang Western Food (棒棒西餐) located in Marine Parade Central Market and Food Centre is run by ex-Astons chefs and brothers Lucas and Bernard Pang, where the family-owned establishment offers a taste of nostalgia with their hearty and affordable Western dishes.

The location of Pang Pang Western Food is at a corner of the bustling food centre, right next to my go to coffee spot in this food centre, Du Du Hao Coffee House.

The Food The menu at Pang Pang Western Food is concise with four main dishes to choose from. The well-marinated grilled chicken (S$7.50) is a popular choice, boasting tender and juicy chicken with a perfectly charred exterior.

Choose from brown or black pepper sauce for the mains, where I had my grilled chicken with the delicious black pepper sauce.

For other meat options, there are also the pork chop (S$8), the NZ prime sirloin (S$13.50) and NZ prime ribeye (S$14.50). Each main dish at Pang Pang Western Food is accompanied by a side dish, with the default option being pasta with broccoli and egg. I was craving for fries and I swapped the pasta for fries at no extra cost.

Pang Pang Western Food also offers a selection of sides like the crispy Onion Rings (S$3) or the crispy Chicken Wings with Fries (S$4).

Rants Nothing in particular.

Will I Return Again? So, the next time you find yourself craving for comforting and no-frills Western fare, head over to Pang Pang Western Food at Marine Parade Central Market and Food Centre.
