Food Scoops: The Best Pet-Friendly Restaurants & Cafes In Singapore

For anyone with a furkid, finding a weekend coffee spot isn’t just about the beans — it is about whether your four-legged companion is relegated to a sweltering pavement or welcomed with open arms. The cafe scene has stepped up drastically in the past few years, introducing spaces that treat pets less like an afterthought and more like VIPs.

Here are some outstanding pet-friendly cafes in Singapore to check out! Have we missed out on any notable ones, let us know!

The Brewing Ground
One of our favourite cafes in the east tucked inside The Yards along Joo Chiat Place, the cafe here features a large, glasshouse-style indoor section, but pet owners are allocated to the spacious, sheltered outdoor backyard. It is breezy, well-shaded from rain or shine, and offers plenty of breathing room between tables so big dogs do not feel cramped. In terms of food, The Breakfast Burger stuffed with pork sausage patty and silky scrambled eggs is an absolute must-order.
Address: 406 Joo Chiat Place, #01-24 The Yards, Singapore 428084

Elephant Grounds
Located at Guoco Midtown I, this is a renowned cafe & lifestyle brands from Hong Kong where most of its mains are priced below S$20 which is great in Singapore’s cafe context. The coffee is expectedly good, especially the Americano Air. The spacious outdoor alfresco area is lined with vibrant orange chairs and serves as the primary zone for pet owners. It is breezy, beautifully lit by natural light,

MyX
Chip Bee Gardens always maintains an alluring, laid-back charm, and MyX (pronounced “Mix”) is a contemporary take on Soulful Comfort Food shaped by flavours of the American South and Latin American cooking. It is by Eleven Co. Group which is also behind Cudo and Moxie. While the chic interior is reserved for humans, the outdoor pet-friendly terrace is perfect for watching the world go by.
Address: 44 Jln Merah Saga, #01-46, Singapore 278116

174 Bingo
As one of the most popular bakery cafes along Joo Chiat Road, we love the Scandi-wooden rustic space of 174 Bingo where the range of pastries and bread are on full display at the counter. Expect options like Plain Croissant, Cardamom Bun, Chicken Pie, Pistachio Tart, and more. For pets, there is an outdoor seating area (though seats are limited) with a relaxed neighbourhood vibe.
Address: 174 Joo Chiat Rd, #01-01, Singapore 427445

Neptune
If you still want a highly aesthetic cafe experience along the East Coast stretch, Neptune anchors a prominent shophouse corner right on the main Katong strip. Pets are restricted to the outdoor alfresco seating area out front, though there are ceiling fans, so it remains cool and breezy for the dogs. The layout is also very stroller-friendly, providing plenty of breathing room.
Address: 237 East Coast Road, Singapore 428930

Air CCCC
Occupying a massive expanse at 25B Dempsey Road, Air CCCC (Awareness, Impact, Responsibility) is a multi-concept space where industrial chic meets sprawling greenery. It features a sweeping outdoor lawn and a beautifully designed, minimalist aesthetic. The pet-friendly outdoor seating area offers massive amounts of physical space between tables so large dog breeds can sprawl out comfortably on the cool ground while you linger over your meal. That said, the downside is weather elements as it is completely outdoors for pets, meaning that if the tropical mid-afternoon humidity spikes or a sudden torrential downpour hit, you will be scrambling under the sheltered zones with the rest of the crowd.
