Food Review: Saint Pierre At One Fullerton | Two Michelin-starred Modern French Fine Dining
The Place Has it been 25 years already? Located at One Fullerton just beside Shoukouwa, the Two Michelin-starred Saint Pierre is led by Chef-Owner Emmanuel Stroobant. The restaurant overlooks the marina, and it is a beautiful view of iconic landmarks in Singapore like Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Flyer. The interior is elegant and soft, denominated by neutral tones.

Needless to say, the window seats offer the best experiencer for couples.

The Food The food at Saint Pierre reflects an expression of contemporary French cuisine guided by subtle Asian influences. In celebration of their 25th year milestone, the restaurant launched a specially curated Anniversary Appreciation Menu, available from April through to the end of June from Tuesdays to Thursdays. It is a four-course dinner menu priced at $288++ per person.

Here is what to expect from the Anniversary Appreciation Menu:
Trio Of Snacks
The meal started with some delicious snacks like Lobster tartare with tomato; Bafun Uni with Oxtail consommé jelly; and Chawanmushi.

Sourdough Bread
I love bread. Ate too many slices of this freshly baked sourdough bread with salted butter.

Manjimup Marron
A beautiful seafood course is up next – Manjimup Marron delicately layered with oba jelly and cultured lait ribot.

Akita Abalone
Next up is an abalone dish – Akita Abalone paired with Hokkaido scallop mousse and finished with a bright ponzu emulsion.

Mains
For the main course, you can choose between Hyogo Manakatsuo or Bresse Chicken, with the option to update with Omi Beef (Supplement S$58 Per Person) or Brittany Blue Lobster (Supplement S$58 Per Person).
I managed to try the Brittany Blue Lobster with turnip, yuzu; while The Rantee had the Omi Beef with green pea, sansho pepper.

The Omi Beef spots a nice aftertaste of subtle sansho pepper, while the blue lobster is a clean and fresh take on this classic French seafood.

Dessert
This includes a choice of either Tulameen Raspberry, a contemporary interpretation of Baba au Rhum elevated with a subtle Southeast Asian flair, or Araguani Chocolate paired with hazelnut and Szechuan peppercorn.
I went for the Araguani Chocolate – put chocolate and hazelnut together on a plate and I am sold.

Last but not least, petit fours are served where I had freshly baked financiers and pineapple tart.

Rants The prices here are definitely on the higher spectrum in the fine dining scene in Singapore. For the table right beside the window, there is also a specific menu for the window seats which is the highest price tier option on the menu.
Will I Return Again? Saint Pierre is a spot to reserve for a special occasion. A meal here does not come cheap, but you are rewarded with a splendid city view (especially for tourists), and beautifully presented courses. While the regular dinner menu is priced at a premium, the limited time Anniversary Appreciation Menu might be a good chance to check out this Two Michelin-starred restaurant if you have always been curious about it.
