New Restaurants

Ki Su Shoujin Omakase
Located along Tras Street, Ki Su Shoujin Omakase is a new restaurant by the team behind Joie by Dozo with a focus on a plant-based omakase menu. Ki Su is probably the only plant-based centric omakase in Singapore at the moment, which in itself is quite a novel and forward-thinking concept. [Read more here…]

Swensen’s Unlimited
It has been years since I visited Swensen’s and there is good reason for me to do so recently. This is Swensen’s revamped space at Terminal 2, and it is a spacious 200-seater restaurant with private rooms. [Read more here…]

Located along Arab Street, I checked out the newly opened Beyond The Dough, a new pizza restaurant in Bugis by master pizzaiolo Eddie Murakami along with Tokyo-born Shinji Yokota of Yokimono Pte Ltd. The shophouse space of the restaurant is a cosy 28-seater with a mix of tables and counter seating, and an open kitchen concept where you can watch the pizza making action.  [Read more here…]

Bao Er Cafe
Balestier Plaza is sizzling hot the past month all thanks to Bao Er Cafe, a casual eatery in the sleepy complex which garnered huge social media attention lately after its story broke out on 8days. The name Bao Er is in fact the name of the wife of founder Jeremy, where the space is a no-frills set up like an old school coffeeshop, except that you get to enjoy air-conditioning here thankfully. The Kaya Toast lives up to its hype. [Read more here…]
